Karen Griffin was raised in southern Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) in 1994, and was the recipient of the Roy and Peggy Echols Nursing Scholarship in 1990. She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) in neuroscience at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for nine years before taking a position at Morgan Hospital & Medical Center in Martinsville, IN (where she worked for the next five years).

Ms. Griffin joined Neurology Indiana, LLC after graduating from IUSON again in 2007 with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) major. She is certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Ms. Griffin enjoys working with patients of all ages and with a variety of neurologic issues. Thanks to her background in primary care, she also has a special interest in lifestyle management and health maintenance.

Ms. Griffin lives in Martinsville with her husband Todd and their three children. She enjoys cooking, reading and sewing. She also likes to spend time outdoors gardening, bicycling, camping and hiking.
